The girl behind Old Quarter Girl

Xin chào, I am Suzy. I host Old Quarter Girl in English because the travellers I meet in the quarter kept asking the same thing: where is the version of Hanoi told by someone who actually lives it? This is that version.

My working life is at Bao Son, the group behind Bao Son Travel and the Hanoi Larosa Hotel, and my family life runs through these streets every day. Both facts are stated here openly, because they shape what this site is: a personal channel with a real company standing behind its tours.

The rules are simple and they do not bend. Nothing on this site is reviewed unless it was walked, eaten or stayed in. Hotels and tours in the same group as my employer are disclosed wherever they appear. Affiliate links are labelled where they sit, and a commission never moves a ranking.

Tours are sold and operated by Bao Son Travel and led by licensed guides. I design the routes and I am training toward my own international guide card; until it is in my hand, this page says so, plainly.
