Old Quarter, Your Way
Some travellers arrive with a list. Others arrive with a feeling: old houses, street food at dawn, photography, one perfect gift to find. Your Way starts from that feeling instead of a fixed route. Tell us the theme and the pace, and Suzy drafts a map from the streets she films every week. You adjust it until it sounds like your day. Bao Son Travel then quotes it in writing, and a licensed guide leads it, with Suzy joining when her schedule allows. Nothing on this route is copied from a catalogue, because it begins with you.
The route Suzy designed
- Tell us your theme
Food, craft, history, photography, family, or a mix. Add your date, group size and the pace you enjoy, using the planner on this page. - Suzy drafts your map
Within 12 hours you receive a draft route built from the streets of this site, with honest notes on what each stop costs your time. - You adjust it
Swap streets, drop stops, add a coffee, slow the morning. The map is yours; we only flag what will not work on the ground. - Bao Son Travel quotes it in writing
The licensed company prices the agreed route line by line and confirms your guide and meeting point in writing. - Walk it
Your guide leads the day you designed. Suzy joins when she can, and your stops become field notes for the channel, with your permission.
This tour is for you if
- You have exactly one free day and a head full of wishes.
- You are returning to Hanoi and want the streets the tours skip.
- You travel with a camera, a child, or a grandparent, and the pace must fit them.
- You want one theme done properly: food, craft, history or photography.
Questions
There is no catalogue price because there is no catalogue route. Once your draft map is agreed, Bao Son Travel sends one written, line by line quote. You pay the company, never a person, and never in chat.
Two days or more lets us draft a thoughtful route and confirm your guide. Shorter notice is sometimes possible in the pilot season; ask and we will answer honestly within 12 hours.
Almost. If a wish is not practical, not safe, or not allowed, for example entering the train street lanes at barrier times, we will say so plainly and offer the closest honest alternative.
Suzy designs every Your Way route and joins when her schedule allows. A licensed guide leads your day either way, and the route notes carry her picks and warnings.
