Eat and Drink in the East
Bia hoi corner, food streets and late night bowls
When the Old Quarter gets hungry, it walks east. Ta Hien is the famous bia hoi corner where the city sits on small stools with glasses of fresh beer, and the streets around it layer grill smoke, noodle steam and dessert carts into one long evening. Ma May and Hang Buom keep the older food traditions too, from festival sweets to family restaurants that have served the same dishes for decades.
