Booking and cancellation

Last updated 6 November 2026. Written in plain language on purpose.

How a booking happens

One, you send an enquiry from a tour page, by WhatsApp or by email. Two, Bao Son Travel, the licensed operator who sells and runs the tours, replies with a written quote: route, group size, what is included, the total price and the cancellation terms for that trip. Three, you pay through the operator's own payment link. Four, the operator confirms your booking in writing. Until step four, nothing is booked and nothing is owed.

Prices

Tour prices are being confirmed with the operator for this new site, so tour pages say Not set yet rather than guess. The price in your written quote is the price you pay; if it differs from anything you saw earlier, the quote is what counts and you can walk away before paying.

Cancellation

Because each route is staffed and timed differently, cancellation terms are set per trip and are always attached to the written quote before any payment. Read them before you pay; if they are missing from your quote, ask for them in writing first. Nothing in this page overrides the terms attached to your quote.

Changes and problems

If weather or closures force a change, the operator offers the closest alternative or a reschedule. If something goes wrong on the day, contact the operator first and copy suzy@oldquartergirl.com; the review rules on this site guarantee your completed-booking review is published as written.
